The green grass faded fast from fall to winter in Michigan. The year was 1988 when Steven Walker graduated from law school. His first case was with young rape victim found brutually tortured left for dead in the Meadows Woods.

The winter would be a long horror of trials between the parents and boyfriend. The judge was Matty Giles a strict sargent from the phillipians who moved to give birth to her daughter in the U.S.  after her husband was killed in Vet man.

She was fond of Steven way before he graduated knowing he had a lot of potential and would make a prestigious lawyer.  She had his best interests at heart.  Then the hope got buried when he decided to drop the case for a another case on a hockey player.

The bubble burst when he was begged to take on both cases at once his first year after graduation.
