Where do all those teethers go? Those rubbery toys for chewing or growing up teeth. Buying new ones every day. If we found all the teethers we have it could fill a large suit case full of them.
Without teethers, there isn't anything else to sooth babys gums or teeth from the growth and development of their teeth. All moles are in and just a few are missing left.
Teethers are more helpful or safer than house hold appliances, shoulders, or tools in toolbox made of rubber grips. Nobody wants to get a nibble on the arms to firm. It's alarming more than painful.

Hope Rope
You're my hope, my calm, my soap when I'm wrong. You're my right,my wrong, my song, my long hot desert, my moisturizing lip balm when I say the words out loud, my megaphone when I'm quiet as a door mouse.
You're my dry throat, my utopia, my float whenever I have no idea. You're all my laughs, my yawns, my sass, my frowns, you are my all when I rise and when I fall, when I dance, when I fly, when Im in a transe, or when my souls run dry. You're my space, my time, my race, and my line I walk, or run, or when I'm carried in your arms.
You're my go, my stop, my start, and my end. For you I flip, and flop, for you all these things I drop.

Why Did I Do That?
Chicago was fogging up the high rises around 6am and gray bright overcast made the city look unfamiliar hiding the heavenly reach of building. As usual the lake was larger than life and waves were smoothly pasting the shore with still waters.
The quieted condo wasn't so sound or silent. There were cleaning and organizing snaps and zip noises slowing stirring up the calm and quiet nap time for babys Ethan and Mia. Three hours passed by and it was the first and of the day a very relieving sigh subtle and rewarding.
Then finally one baby pops a tiny head up from the crib and whimpers in the last call, sighs, and called out rambles of coos. Hoping not to wake Ethan, we sit in with Mia until she goes to sleep again, the older by sox months of the two infants she is more picky about what she desires and so she giggles and plays for a few minutes.
Surprise. The other guardian grandma comes in to see her back to sleep when she discovers poop in her diaper as to what kept her from her sweet and sound nap.
So day after day cutting corners to find a little time for ourselves seem impossible as we need to watch the other infant as well from mishaps and the unthinkable turmoils.
As Ethan sleeps we count the hours. Tally 2 a day as he needs more time to nap then. Yet with the jumbled and rumbles of sinks and stoves running and on Ethan may sleep a little over forty minutes as nannas name is shouted out she puts baby Mia back in her arms to rock to sleep again. This goes on a handfull of times before she sleeps deeply as her carton plays and the continuing day exudes noises unpredicted and underprepared such as the doors opening and closing, cell phones, and or loud cawing of the birds outside stir up and interrupt.
Alas at home a environment familiar of most noises, and safety areas. I can only imagine when a nap is time or what a fall is determined as critical such as a slip on a wood floor opposed to a concrete floor.

Hot Kokoa
The night held a dimming daylight. And the time didn't match the colors of the sky. The NW Regions of Indiana seasons were turning as cool met warm often and bonfires blew smokey aromas filled with steaks and chicken.
The fourth of July was only a few weeks away and still hot kokao was piping in every gas stations food mart. Maybe the spelling gave hot chocolate a new image who knew? The special ingredient in nanas hot kokoa was speks of gold from the gold mine in her country.
Couldon't get enough of the stories from her time. The sky still wasn't turning black. It was weird to be going to bed at day light hours. Then again theres Alaska where daylight is around the clock.
Chapter 1
Fifi the mocking bird
Naming the neighborhood bird with a name like Fifi fit poorly for a bird that sang songs from the sweetest heavens. Old highschooligan sweethearts with nothing to do raising a 1 year old brought new trials of attitude and character transformation.
Long hours apart and great fear of heart was a misery. Days rolled by and nights skidded it's breaks down to the bone for some sleep. Birds hung out on the patio, and baby screams echoed through heads of determination and diligence for upbringing currant experiences.
Staring at a baby all day can turn a mind to wondering of the human development. Coffee shops fill up urges to network with like minded people who want the same time as well to gather information about burning mysteries. For example, thus and that. Hurts to much to say.
Who has the words for the development of humanity. The bold the brave and the baring. Never forget those who gave it all, read a church board from the street.
Chapter 2
To Be or to Be Not
Coffee isn't coffee without all those sugars and cremes stirred in, and hot kokoa too isn't hot kokoa without nannas secret ingredient gold speckles. Nanna felt the pressures of serving up to all the gas stations her special hot kokoa, and still she couldn't help her generous spirit and heart of gold.
Drinking the highly sweet hot concoction of hot Kokoa was delicious and mesmerising during the summer start of very hot sunny days. Ethan who turned 1 years old searched his toy box for his books. As a teether he would bite on the corners of the book bindings massaging his tiny gums.
Nanna was good at pointing out the worst in things thank God. Cheesy cake finger tips and spiders crawling in cups. Clean hair that's dirty. Liking fingers. Wrong and right images and dreams. Heaven or Eric.
Nanna could tell a tale bigger than gold. Church every Sunday, mountain high confidence. Pod scum. Omelettes with fresh vegetables and fast food havens.
Better than anything nanna knew and didn't at times. Heavy eye lids, dreary aND dry. Only minutes away from the sweetest heavens Fifi would sing her 6am song.
What were night tremors anyway. The vitamin d whole milk was what caused baby to grow and have spurts of more growth. Nanna drank her hot kokoa and talked a good while about her gold.mine in the basement. Pass code: doggoneit.
Ch 3
Doggoneit
It was 98 degrees in June. No cool rain in sight. Nanna said rain tonight. She had both her grandchildren driving up to and fro Chicago. Praying Health and safety.
The alphabet on the kids wall in the basement spelled out the code to get under the basements concrete. Doggoneit. There it was a gold mine unscathed. Purest gold. Maybe a dragon would pop out and sende riddles to answer.
She brewed her own Hot Kokoa and wanted someone to take over. All her secret ingredients were in the basement concrete. Amazingly, nannas hot kokoa was an under ground recipe made with stolen gold from the family inheritance that she recovered to the rightful owner herself.
Leave it up to Nanna Wilma to get the knots out of hair, break pills into forms plesant when fear took its course during illnesses. Clean undies, new sandals, blouses, and work pants. Nanna could give mom the best with super discounts and mom still couldn't take care of anything.
Chapter 4
Under the weather
Sometimes mirages were puddles, and other times they were green crumbled twenties floating along the sidewalks. Dropped a hundred dollar bill and went back for it only to realize the green bill was gone for good.
Another incident with a hundred dollar bill was at a casino where the money was on the rainbow designed patterned carpet of stars and hearts with come on eyes. No one picked it up accept the rightful owner who intentionally left it on the floor to be found and used unsuccessfully the woman took one look at the bill and quickly brushed it out of her mind and sight.
Nanna said never talk to strangers. Yet the gold specks she put in her business drink became a disquieting uproar of hot chocolate lovers. The rich taste and homemade style was a food fashion the world wasn't ready to pursue quite yet.
Nanna taught that kno matter how u ser the weather life got, to avoid the short cuts. Such as skipping a meal to lose weight when you need to be excersing. Or putting that thought in your head that tops the rest when you just need to push a little further. For instance, I need that burger although it isn't enough food without those french fries again when I could be ordering a portion sized plate of rainbow colored fruits, vegetables, dairy, protein and healthy others.
That beverage was bold and better than any cup of cofree or regular hot cocoa. Nanny's love and gold glittered. I tried even putting marshmallows in a cold cup of Joe to enhance the taste, nothing beats a soft and sweet topping such a the large puffy marshmallow treat in a peppermint coffee in the middle of baby naps in late June early summer for a nostalgic taste of wintery Christmas in July. Lying in the air condition sipping on a hot coffee or cold one was just fine waiting for your nails to dry and baby to wake from early morning nap time.
Grandpa mostly attended to the babies adventurous needs of curiosity by taking him around town, the house to touch and feel things and build up a sense of interest and need in the secular world.
Spiritually the womend fed him, bathed him, and rocked baby to sleep. Sleeping angel. Nanna talked of the old baby rausing and how life was only more stricter for keeping babis safe and healthy.
